About this job
Our company is looking for two dependable box truck drivers to run local, regional, and OTR freight out of Atlanta. One spot is for a 26-foot truck and the other for an 18-foot truck, and both come with a company-provided vehicle.
Pay
- You keep 50% of the gross revenue from each load
- You cover your own fuel costs
- Pay goes out once a load is finished and the company has been paid
- Weekly earnings range from $1,000.00 to $5,000.00
Routes and home time
- Freight moves within about a 500-mile radius of Atlanta, covering Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi
- Work includes a mix of local, regional, and over-the-road runs depending on what loads are available and what you prefer
- Getting home every 2 to 3 days isn't guaranteed, so you should be ready to be out for 4 to 5 days straight when the job requires it
What you'll drive
- Company-supplied 18-foot or 26-foot box truck
Requirements
- Prior experience driving a box truck
- Valid driver's license and current DOT medical card
- Clean enough driving record to meet the company's commercial insurance standards
- Reliable, professional, and safety-minded on the road
- Good communication with dispatch and ownership
- Willing to take care of and maintain the company's equipment
- Looking to stay with the company long term
