Box Truck Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate — HVAC Products

Our company Company in Longview, TX needs a dependable driver to deliver HVAC products to customers and help run the warehouse between runs. You'll be the face of the company on the road, so good customer service matters as much as safe driving.

What you'll haul

• HVAC goods and materials, moved from the distributorship to customers, vendors, or other Sales Center locations

What you'll do

• Load and unload the truck daily for deliveries

• Collect signed invoices and bring them back to the Sales Center Manager

• Help out in the warehouse with inventory counts, order picking, and order checks

• Run a daily truck maintenance checklist and log in/out times along with any merchandise returns

• Keep your truck and work area clean and organized

• Follow all safety rules, wear required PPE, and report hazards or incidents right away

• Take part in regular safety training

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (equivalent experience considered)

• At least 1 year of truck driving experience

• Box truck delivery experience

• Valid DOT medical certificate before starting, and must meet DOT physical qualification standards (reasonable accommodations available)

• CDL license is a strong plus, though not required

• Forklift or appliance lift experience is a plus

• Must be at least 21 years old

• A valid driver's license is needed since driving is a core part of this job

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office or similar tools

• Strong communication and customer service skills, and the English proficiency needed to follow safety procedures and training

• Able to handle several tasks in a fast-moving environment

Physical demands

• Lifting and moving parts and equipment up to 50 pounds

• Standing, sitting, walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed to reach equipment

• Extended use of computer and phone equipment

• Good vision for reading labels, checking equipment, and tracking inventory

• Operating forklifts and pallet jacks
