Box Truck Delivery Driver — $21/hr, Temp-to-Permanent

This is a temporary-to-permanent delivery driving job in London, ON, hired through a staffing agency for a client company. You'll drive a 26' box truck delivering tires to customers around southern Ontario.

Pay

• $21.00 per hour

• 4% vacation pay, accrued and paid out on request

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, day shift, typically starting around 8am and running 8-10 hours

• Must be flexible; occasional weekend or afternoon shifts may be offered

• Mostly casual shifts covering sick calls, with a few full-time positions available

What you'll do

• Start at the head office in London to get your route and schedule

• Load the box truck with tires, ranging from small lawnmower tires to tractor tires

• Drive your route and deliver to customer sites

• Help unload orders at each stop

• Return the truck to head office at the end of the day

Requirements

• Valid G licence with a clean driver's abstract (you provide the abstract)

• Able to pass a criminal background check

• At least 1 year of box truck delivery driving experience

• Physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Friendly demeanor
