GFL in Thunder Bay is hiring AZ Vacuum Truck and Septic Drivers for local work with the Vacuum Truck Services team. You'll handle hydro excavating, confined space entry, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading/hauling of various fluids and materials.
What you'll haul
- Operate Vacuum, Hydrovac, Box, Van trailer and Roll-off trucks
- Load, transport and unload hazardous and non-hazardous goods
- Also operate a pick-up truck, utility trailer, forklift, excavator and bobcat as needed
Responsibilities
- Complete pre and post trip inspections and all required transport paperwork
- Keep tools and equipment clean
- Follow MOE, MOL and MTO compliance requirements
- Complete assigned routes safely and on time
- Check in at day's end to confirm paperwork is accurate
Requirements
- Valid AZ license, able to drive manual transmission
- Must be able to cross the US border; US Fast Pass needed
- Clean driver's abstract
- Mechanical aptitude and experience hauling liquids
- Knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Must be located in or around Thunder Bay
