About this job
Our company in Brampton, ON is looking for an experienced truck driver to haul freight and equipment to different locations. You'll need to be comfortable staying out on the road for stretches at a time.
Pay
- Up to $0.72 per mile
- Monthly pay ranges from $8,000.00 to $9,000.00
Schedule
- Be ready to stay in the truck for 5 days at a stretch
What you'll haul
- Freight, equipment and materials delivered to assigned locations
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean record
- At least 2 years of experience in commercial driving, freight hauling or similar work preferred
- Comfortable working solo or alongside a team, with solid communication skills
- Must clear a background check and drug screening
- Able to complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, keep accurate logs and paperwork, and stay in touch with dispatchers and clients about schedules or issues
- Follow traffic laws, safety rules and company policies on the road
