About this job
Our company is looking for an experienced AZ truck driver to run freight between Toronto and Montreal/Quebec City. You'll need at least 1 year of driving experience and a commitment to safe, professional driving.
What you'll haul
- Commercial freight on the Toronto to Montreal/Quebec City route
- Loading and unloading may involve forklifts or other heavy equipment
Responsibilities
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep accurate records of your hours, routes and deliveries
- Stay in touch with dispatch and clients about delivery timing
- Handle minor vehicle repairs and upkeep when needed
- Follow all applicable transportation laws and regulations
Requirements
- Valid AZ license
- At least 1 year of experience in freight transportation preferred
- Comfortable operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus
- Solid grasp of commercial driving safety rules
- Good time management and punctuality
- Clear communicator with dispatch and clients
