About this job
Our company in Milton, ON is looking for a reliable driver to run loads out to California and the Midwest, including Tennessee, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Both company drivers and owner operators are welcome to apply for this full-time role.
Pay
- $80,000.00–$120,000.00 per year
What you'll haul
- Freight and heavy equipment moved to delivery points across the listed regions
Responsibilities
- Drive commercial vehicles safely to assigned destinations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks for safety and compliance
- Keep accurate logs and delivery paperwork
- Follow all traffic and safety rules along with company procedures
- Stay in contact with dispatch, customers and teammates on scheduling and any problems that come up
Requirements
- Valid CDL with a clean driving history
- Familiarity with freight handling and safety procedures
- Comfortable and capable operating heavy equipment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage your own time without close supervision
