Our company is hiring full-time AZ truck drivers based out of Timmins, ON. The company has served forestry and mining clients across Northern Ontario for more than 30 years.
Pay
- Starts from $33.00 per hour
What you'll do
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Watch for and manage health and safety hazards on the job
- Keep an eye on vehicle condition, how loads are secured and changing road conditions
- Follow directions and communicate clearly with the team
- Fill out and file all required paperwork accurately
- Keep electronic logs and inspection records up to date
- Secure loads, materials and equipment properly
- Handle other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid AZ licence, manual transmission
- At least 3 years of driving experience (preferred)
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- Reliable attendance
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Willingness to follow management direction
- Commitment to a positive safety culture
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Timmins, ON before starting
