AZ Truck Driver Long Haul

Our company, a long-time Ontario cabinetry manufacturer, needs an AZ long-haul driver to deliver cabinets, countertops and closets to customers and job sites, including cross-border runs into the U.S.

Pay

• $28.00–$30.00 per hour, based on roughly 41.5 scheduled hours weekly (Monday–Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-3pm, with extensions as deliveries require)

What you'll haul

• Cabinetry, countertops and related freight to residential homes, new construction sites and customer locations

• Loading, securing and unloading goods to avoid damage in transit

Requirements

• Full Class AZ licence

• 3 years of long-haul AZ driving experience

• 1 year experience with manual transmission

• Clean, valid Ontario driver's abstract and insurability

• Valid passport for U.S. travel

• English fluency

• Working at Heights certification is a plus

• Must have your own vehicle to reach the Carleton Place facility, as no public transit serves the area

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial truck on long-haul routes

• Carry out pre-trip and ongoing vehicle and load inspections

• Keep accurate logs, incident reports and delivery status updates

• Handle basic truck upkeep like fluid levels, tire pressure and cleaning

• Pitch in on plant duties when not on a delivery run

• Follow all traffic laws and company safety rules
