AZ Truck Driver — Local GTA Runs, $5,500–$6,500/Month

Our company in Mississauga, ON is looking for a licensed AZ driver to handle highway and local runs across the GTA. You'll transport client shipments safely and on schedule, working day shifts of 10 to 12 hours, Monday through Sunday.

Pay

• $5,500.00-$6,500.00 per month, based on miles driven

• Fully paid training included

• Permanent, full-time position

What you'll do

• Pick up and deliver freight at customer tailgates

• Run company equipment such as tractor trailers and pump trucks

• Check your vehicle before trips for mechanical or safety problems

• Report any defects, accidents, violations or maintenance concerns right away

• Keep accurate logs of work and rest periods per regulations and company policy

• Follow provincial laws and company procedures

• Check and confirm delivery paperwork and shipment manifests

• Hand bomb freight when the job calls for it

Requirements

• Valid AZ driver's licence (preferred)

• At least 2 years of insured commercial driving experience with an AZ licence

• Clean driving history (CVOR and abstract will be checked)

• Able to pass a road test, physical abilities test and background check

• Strong communication skills, a positive attitude and solid attention to detail while multitasking
