About this job
Our company in Red Lake, ON is looking for an AZ Truck Driver to haul freight on both long and short runs, including low bed, gravel, and possibly winter road work.
Pay
- From $30.00 per hour
- Expect to work 45 to 55 hours per week
What you'll haul
- Mix of long and short haul freight
- Low bed and gravel loads
- Possible winter road hauling
What you'll do
- Drive a commercial truck along assigned routes while following safety and delivery procedures
- Check the truck, trailer, and load before and during trips, and log any issues
- Keep trip and delivery paperwork, written or digital, up to date
- Operate heavy equipment as needed to load, unload, or reposition freight
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and bills of lading daily
Requirements
- Able to drive commercially and handle freight safely
- Good attention to detail and communication skills
- Experience with heavy equipment and basic truck or trailer repairs is a plus
