About this job
Our company is looking for an experienced AZ driver to run dedicated US freight lanes out of Bolton, ON. You'll run set routes to Georgia, South Carolina and Texas, with occasional dedicated loads into Pennsylvania.
Pay
- $0.60 per mile, paid bi-weekly
- Expected monthly pay of $6,000.00-$8,000.00
Routes and miles
- Permanent lanes covering Georgia, South Carolina and Texas, plus occasional dedicated runs to Pennsylvania
- 2,800-3,200 miles per week
Equipment
- Automatic transmission trucks: Volvo and Freightliner Cascadia
What you'll do
- Drive AZ-licensed commercial trucks to deliver freight to assigned locations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload freight, using a forklift or other equipment when needed
- Keep accurate delivery paperwork and logs
- Handle basic vehicle troubleshooting or repairs when required
- Follow traffic laws, safety rules and company procedures
- Stay in contact with dispatch and customers about schedules and any issues
- Help with warehouse tasks like freight handling and inventory when needed
Requirements
- Valid AZ commercial driver's licence with a clean record
- At least 2 years of verified AZ driving experience
- Experience with forklifts or similar equipment preferred
- Familiarity with freight handling, loading/unloading and safety procedures
- Basic automotive troubleshooting skills a plus
- Strong attention to detail for documentation and compliance
- Comfortable working within tight schedules while keeping safety a priority
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
