About this job
Our company in Brampton, ON is looking for an AZ truck driver to haul freight between warehouses, distribution centers and client sites. You'll keep deliveries on schedule while following all safety and traffic rules.
What you'll do
- Drive commercial trucks on assigned routes, following traffic laws and safety standards
- Move freight between warehouses, distribution centers and customer locations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to catch issues early
- Keep accurate records of pickups, deliveries and vehicle logs
- Handle basic troubleshooting to keep the truck running well
- Work with the team to plan schedules, routes and delivery priorities
Requirements
- Valid AZ license with a clean driving record
- Prior commercial driving experience, ideally hauling freight
- Able to lift, bend and stand for long stretches
- Careful with safety checks and paperwork
- Good communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
