Our company in Mississauga, ON needs a reliable AZ driver to run scheduled routes, handling pickups and drop-offs while representing the company well on the road.
Pay
- $6,000 to $10,000 per month
What you'll do
- Operate an AZ-class commercial vehicle on assigned routes between pickup and delivery locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and flag any mechanical issues
- Load, unload, and secure cargo as required
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Drive in compliance with traffic and safety rules, keeping the team updated on any delays or problems
- Assist with routine vehicle checks, light troubleshooting, and operating heavy equipment once trained
Requirements
- Valid AZ licence with a minimum of 2 years of safe driving history
- Commercial driving and freight-handling background of 2+ years preferred
- Able to handle inspection routines and delivery documentation
- A plus if you hold forklift certification, have heavy equipment experience, or can troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Physically able to load and secure freight
