AZ Truck Driver — $33.25–$36/hr After Training

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is hiring an AZ driver for its Transportation team in Kitchener, ON, moving metal materials to and from client sites and other AIM facilities. This is a full-time, permanent, Monday-to-Friday role starting at 6:00am.

Pay

• $33.25 to $36 per hour once training is complete

• Potential to earn over $100,000 annually

• Overtime kicks in after 44 hours worked

What you'll haul

• Metal materials transported between client sites and AIM facilities

• You'll drive one of the newer trucks in the fleet

What the job involves

• Driving an AZ-class truck while following traffic laws and company rules

• Loading and unloading metal materials with the right equipment, and securing loads so nothing shifts or gets damaged in transit

• Hand tarping when the job calls for it

• Checking the truck's condition before and after each trip

• Keeping clear, accurate delivery records and paperwork

Requirements

• Valid AZ license with a clean CVOR and driver's abstract

• Experience driving an 18-speed manual transmission (required)

• At least 2 years behind the wheel as an AZ driver

• Physically able to hand tarp 40- and 53-yard bins

• Comfortable handling loading and unloading duties

• Knowledge of metal recycling materials and processes is a plus, not required
