About this job
Our company Inc. in Casselman, ON needs a dependable AZ truck driver to haul aggregates and construction materials to job sites across the area. This is full-time, permanent work for the construction season.
Pay
- $29.00 per hour
What you'll haul
- Aggregates, asphalt, topsoil and other construction materials, moving loads to and from various job sites
- You'll run a 2-axle semi trailer and a triaxle
What you'll do
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections every day
- Secure loads properly and stay within weight limits
- Keep delivery paperwork and records accurate
- Follow company safety rules and Ministry of Transportation requirements
- Stay in contact with dispatch and site supervisors
- Hook and unhook trailers safely
Requirements
- Valid AZ licence with a clean abstract
- Experience driving a 2-axle semi truck
- Familiarity with local roads and construction sites in Eastern Ontario
- Able to work early mornings or longer days as needed
- Reliable, safety-focused and hard-working
