Our company in Kingston, ON is looking for a dependable driver to move freight safely and on schedule.
Pay
- $27.00-$30.00 per hour

What you'll do
- Drive to deliver freight, materials or equipment to assigned locations
- Check your vehicle before and after each trip to confirm it's safe and compliant
- Load and unload cargo, making sure it's handled and secured properly
- Keep accurate logs of mileage, fuel use and completed deliveries
- Follow all traffic laws on the road
- Stay in touch with dispatch about schedules and any problems that come up
- Handle basic vehicle repairs when needed
- Run heavy equipment or a forklift for loading and unloading when the job calls for it
Requirements
- AZ license held for at least 1 year (mandatory)
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Automotive repair know-how is a plus
- Experience with heavy equipment or forklifts is a plus
- Solid understanding of freight handling and safety rules
- Good time management and ability to hit deadlines
- Valid commercial driver's license required
