About this job
Our company is looking for an AZ licensed truck driver to haul freight between distribution centers, warehouses and customer sites in Mississauga, ON and beyond. You'll run tractor-trailers and heavy equipment, keep shipments moving on schedule, and help maintain safe, accurate operations from pickup to delivery.
Pay
- $26.00 to $32.00 per hour
What you'll do
- Drive tractor-trailers and other heavy commercial vehicles under your AZ license
- Load and unload cargo with forklifts and other equipment, making sure it's secured properly
- Carry out pre-trip and routine vehicle checks, handling basic repairs as needed
- Keep delivery logs current and confirm freight paperwork is accurate
- Help with forklift work in the warehouse when required
- Stick to traffic laws, safety rules and company procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid AZ (Class A) license with a clean driving history
- Hands-on experience running trucks and forklifts
- Understanding of freight handling and safety rules for commercial driving
- Comfortable inspecting vehicles and making minor repairs on your own
- Logistics or transportation background is a plus but not required if you're ready to learn
- Strong communication skills for working with dispatch and your team
