Our company in Timmins, ON needs an experienced truck driver to handle local and regional freight and equipment hauls. You'll need 1.5-2 years behind the wheel and a focus on safe, efficient, professional runs.
Pay
- $25.00-$28.00 per hour
- Full-time, permanent position
What you'll do
- Drive local and regional routes hauling freight and equipment, following all traffic laws and safety rules
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep accurate logs and paperwork for every trip
- Help with minor truck repairs and upkeep to keep equipment road-ready
- Work with warehouse staff on loading, unloading and inventory
- Handle basic automotive troubleshooting or repairs as needed
Requirements
- Valid AZ licence preferred, with a clean driving record
- About 1 year of commercial or truck driving experience preferred
- Basic automotive repair or troubleshooting knowledge is a plus
- Solid grasp of safety procedures for heavy equipment and freight handling
- Able to lift heavy loads and handle physically demanding work
- Organized, detail-oriented approach to paperwork and vehicle upkeep
- Secondary school education preferred; English preferred
- Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Timmins, ON
