AZ Tow Truck Operator — $40,527–$87,646/Year

Our company in the Greater Sudbury area is hiring full-time AZ licensed drivers for roadside assistance, towing and recovery of light and medium vehicles. The company runs around the clock, every day of the year, and will train you even if you're new to trucking.

Pay

• $40,527.00-$87,646.00 per year

• Commission pay and overtime pay available

What you'll do

• Respond to roadside assistance calls and tow or recover light and medium vehicles

• Load, secure and deliver parts and equipment both locally and out of town

• Write up invoices, work out applicable taxes and process customer payments

• Communicate regularly with customers and dispatch

Schedule

• Shifts of 8, 10 or 12 hours, including days and nights

• Includes weekends, holidays and on-call rotations

• Occasional overnight trips requiring hotel stays

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and your own way to get to and from work

• Clean driving abstract, no older than 30 days

• No criminal record

• Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight

• Able to do physically demanding tasks like lifting, shoveling, bending and standing

• Able to work outdoors in extreme heat or cold

• Able to follow local, provincial and company transportation rules

• Comfortable finding your way around unfamiliar areas using a map or GPS

• Able to stay calm and handle stressful situations while working solo

• Trucking experience is a plus but not required; full training provided
