About this job
Our company runs freight across Canada and the US for major Fortune 500 shippers, and is looking for owner operator teams and company driver teams to run out of Milton, ON on scheduled lanes.
Routes
- Set round trips from the GTA to Western Canada
- Two round trips per week between the GTA and Winnipeg
- A GTA to Winnipeg to Chicago to GTA loop
- Miles are split evenly among drivers by an experienced dispatch team
Pay
- Owner operators are paid bi-monthly on a competitive package
- Posted pay range is $26,000.00-$30,000.00 per month
What you'll haul
- Reefer and dry van trailers
Requirements
- Class 1 licence with at least 1 year of Canadian driving experience
- A clean 5-year commercial driving abstract, no more than 2 demerit points
- Mountain driving experience is a plus
- Strong English communication skills and a positive attitude
- A working co-driver to team with you
- Owner operators need a dependable, well-kept tractor
- Ability to handle your rig safely, keep accurate e-logs, do pre-trip inspections, and stay in touch with dispatch, customers, managers and safety staff
- Fast Card required; preference given to those with a semi-tractor trailer experience, a Class 1 licence, and a Milton, ON L9T 5J3 location
