About this job
Our company in Woodbridge, ON is looking for an AZ Team Driver to run freight across Canada. You'll work alongside a teammate, hauling loads safely and keeping deliveries on schedule.
What you'll do
- Drive commercial trucks through multiple provinces, following all traffic and safety rules
- Work with your co-driver to load, unload and secure freight, using forklifts and other equipment as needed
- Complete pre-trip vehicle and equipment checks
- Keep shipping logs and delivery manifests accurate
- Handle basic troubleshooting or repairs on the truck when required
- Stay in contact with dispatch and customers to confirm schedules and sort out any issues
Requirements
- Valid AZ licence with a clean record and commercial driving experience in Canada
- Comfortable operating forklifts and similar loading equipment
- Familiar with freight handling and safety procedures for large loads
- Automotive repair or troubleshooting experience is a plus
- Able to lift heavy items, spend long hours on the road, and work in all weather
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
Pay
$80,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
