About this job
Jade Transportation, based in Morrisburg, Ontario, is looking for a two-person driving team (spouses or equivalent) to run specialized commodity freight across Canada and the US. Most work is dispatched as team loads, with occasional solo runs available.
Pay
- $0.71 per mile
- Hourly rate of $30.50
- Stops, border crossings and CVSA inspections are all paid
- Annual pay ranges from $115,000.00 to $135,000.00
What you'll haul
This role serves specialized commodity markets with lanes throughout Canada and the United States. Flatbed experience is a plus, but tarping is not part of the job.
Equipment and facilities
You'll run a dedicated truck. The Morrisburg yard includes on-site fuel, a washbay (your truck gets washed at no cost to you), a full in-house maintenance shop, and a container yard. Management is hands-on and many of them hold an AZ license themselves.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of AZ driving experience
- FAST card and experience driving in the US
- English language proficiency
- Hazmat experience and a TWIC card are helpful but not required
- Team driving is available but not required
