About this job
Our company is looking for an AZ licensed driver to run freight on Texas Lane routes out of Brampton, ON. You'll need solid driving experience, comfort around heavy equipment, and a strong safety mindset.
What you'll do
- Drive commercial trucks on assigned routes, delivering freight on time
- Load and unload freight, using a forklift or other equipment when required
- Inspect your truck and cargo regularly, flagging any problems right away
- Secure loads and check shipments for accuracy
- Handle minor mechanical troubleshooting or repairs to keep the truck running
- Keep accurate records of pickups, deliveries, and logbooks
- Stay compliant with federal, state, and local trucking rules
Requirements
- Valid AZ license with a clean record
- Commercial driving and freight transport experience
- Comfortable and safe operating heavy equipment or a forklift (forklift/freight handling experience preferred)
- Basic automotive troubleshooting knowledge is a plus
- Detail-oriented with good recordkeeping habits
- Able to work independently and stick to schedules with little supervision
Pay
Full-time role, on the road. Posted pay range is $95,000.00-$120,000.00 (listed per hour in the source, which appears to be an error - confirm exact pay structure with the employer).
