AZ Tanker Driver — Cross-Border Bulk Liquid Delivery

Our company Canada is hiring a Class 1 / AZ driver to haul bulk liquid, cryogenic and refrigerated products between its production plants and customer locations in Sorel-Tracy, QC. The role involves tanker trailers, including b-trains, and occasional trips across the US border.

Schedule

• Rotating shifts of up to 70 hours per week, 14-hour days, on a 4-on/4-off or 4-on/3-off night pattern

• May require time away from home base for extended stretches

What you'll haul

• Bulk liquid, cryogenic and refrigerated gas products moved between our company plants and customers

• Tanker trailers, including b-train configurations

What you'll do

• Inspect equipment before and during runs

• Climb in and out of the cab using three points of contact from about 3 feet up

• Handle hoses up to 50 lbs during loading and unloading

• Stand by outside for up to 90 minutes while product transfers happen

• Fill out TDG paperwork, trip reports, fuel tickets and other required records

• Track deliveries and compliance through onboard computer systems and e-logs

• Wear personal protective equipment on every job

• Check customer-site tank equipment and flag needed repairs

• Cross into the US when a run requires it

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

• Valid Class AZ license held at least 36 months, with 24 months driving similar equipment

• At least 3 years hauling liquid tankers, b-trains included

• TDG and WHMIS certified

• Clean driving abstract, no demerits

• Valid FAST Card for border crossings

• Must meet FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements
