AZ Tanker Driver — Cross-Border Bulk Liquid Delivery

Our company Canada is hiring a full-time AZ/Class 1 DOT Driver based in Chatham, ON to haul bulk liquid, cryogenic and refrigerated products between our company plants and customer locations, including cross-border runs into the US. This role pays a starting salary of $95,000 per year.

Pay

• Starting annual salary of $95,000

Schedule

• Rotating 4-on/4-off day shifts or 4-on/3-off night shifts

• Shifts run up to 14 hours, for as much as 70 hours a week

• May require time away from home base for extended stretches

What you'll haul

• Bulk liquid products, including cryogenic and refrigerated liquids

• Tanker trailers, including B-train configurations

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment before runs to confirm safety and compliance

• Get in and out of the cab repeatedly using proper 3-point contact

• Lift and connect hoses weighing up to 50 lbs

• Stand outside for up to 90 minutes while loading and unloading

• Fill out TDG paperwork, trip reports, fuel tickets and other required records

• Log deliveries and compliance data through onboard computer systems and e-logs

• Wear personal protective equipment on every job

• Check customer-site tank equipment and flag needed repairs

• Cross the US border when assigned, carrying a valid FAST Card

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

• Valid provincial Class AZ license held for at least 36 months

• At least 24 months of driving experience on similar equipment

• Minimum 3 years' experience hauling tanker liquid trailers, including B-trains

• Training in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and WHMIS

• Clean driving abstract, no demerits

• Valid FAST Card

• Must be registered and compliant with FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements
