AZ Tanker Driver — $95,000/Year

Our company Canada is hiring a Class AZ driver to haul bulk liquid, cryogenic and refrigerated products between its production plants and customer sites in the St. Catharines, ON area. The role pays a starting salary of $95,000 a year and involves demanding physical work, long shifts and occasional cross-border runs into the US.

Pay

• Starting salary of $95,000 per year for this newly created position

Schedule

• Up to 70 hours a week, 14-hour shifts

• Rotates on a 4-on/4-off day schedule or a 4-on/3-off night schedule

• May require time away from your home base for extended stretches

What you'll haul

• Bulk liquid, cryogenic and refrigerated products moved between our company plants and customer locations

• Some runs cross into the United States, so a FAST Card and US DOT compliance are needed

What the job involves

• Pre-trip and equipment inspections to stay safe and compliant

• Climbing in and out of the cab repeatedly using three points of contact, from about 3 feet up

• Lifting and connecting hoses up to 50 lbs

• Standing outside for up to 90 minutes while loads are transferred

• Filing TDG paperwork, trip reports, fuel tickets and other required records

• Logging hours and deliveries through onboard computer systems and e-logs

• Wearing PPE at all times on duty

• Checking customer-site tank equipment for issues needing repair

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience

• Class AZ license held at least 36 months, with 24 months driving similar equipment

• At least 3 years hauling tanker liquid trailers, including b-trains

• TDG and WHMIS training

• Clean driving abstract, no demerits

• Valid FAST Card

• Compliant with FMCSA Clearinghouse rules
