AZ Tank Truck Driver — $70,000/Year

Our company in Bonnyville, AB is hiring 2 tank truck drivers for a permanent, full-time position. You'll be on the road hauling dangerous goods, with no prior experience required since training is provided.

Pay

• $70,000 per year, based on a 35-hour work week

• 4% vacation pay

• WCB coverage

Schedule

• Full-time, permanent role

• Shifts can fall on days, evenings, nights, or weekends

• Start date is as soon as possible

• Expect frequent travel, with work locations that change often

What you'll haul

• Dangerous goods, transported and handled according to regulations

• Freight secured with tarping to keep cargo safe during transport

What you'll do

• Drive straight or articulated trucks to move goods and materials

• Plan and adjust routes with GPS and onboard computer systems to cut down on fuel use and emissions

• Load and unload freight

• Check the truck's condition before, during, and after each trip, including tires, brakes, lights, and cold storage units

• Handle basic brake adjustments, preventive maintenance, and roadside repairs when needed

• Keep dispatch updated and log cargo details, hours of service, distances, and fuel use

• Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers

Requirements

• AZ class license (Class 1/1F/A for semi-trailer trucks)

• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate

• High school diploma or equivalent

• English language skills

• A reliable, hardworking approach to the job
