About this job
Our company is looking for an AZ truck driver to handle trailer switches and load transfers out of Belleville or Mississauga, ON. You'll meet another driver coming from the west and exchange loads in Northern Ontario. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, with occasional coverage runs during holidays that could mean local, regional, or longer trips as far as Alberta.
What you'll haul
- Dry and temperature-controlled (reefer) trailers moving between Belleville/Mississauga and Northern Ontario
- Switches involve meeting a westbound driver to exchange loads
- Fill-in holiday coverage may include local, regional, or long-haul runs to Alberta
Requirements
- At least 1 year of verifiable AZ driving experience
- Clean criminal record check
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Reefer and ELD experience are a plus, not mandatory
- Strong, positive attitude expected

- Newer trucks with high-rise bunks
- Auto-shift transmissions available
