About this job
Our company is hiring a full-time AZ shunt truck driver to work out of a client yard in Milton, ON, moving trailers around the site on a long-term, permanent basis.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, starting at 3:45am
- 8 hours per day, roughly 40 to 45 hours weekly
Pay
- $23.75 per hour
- Safety and performance bonuses available (amount not specified)
What you'll haul
- General freight
- Shunting trailers within the yard, requiring comfort in tight spaces
Requirements
- At least 3 years of verifiable AZ driving experience
- At least 2 years specifically operating a shunt truck
- Valid driver's license
- May need to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Clean criminal record check
- Clean CVOR and driver abstract
- Able to supply references confirming past experience
