About this job
Our company, a scrap metal recycling company operating depots across Ontario and Alberta, needs an AZ-licensed Roll Off Truck Driver for a full-time, permanent position based in Whitby, ON. You'll move scrap metal loads and shred bins between customer locations and company depots throughout the GTA and Southern Ontario.
Pay
- $25.00-$30.00 per hour
What you'll haul
- Scrap metal loads picked up and dropped off at customer sites and depots
- Shred bins delivered and collected at customer sites and depots
What you'll do
- Complete a pre-trip inspection of your truck each day and log the results
- Run trucks, tractors and roll-off equipment
Requirements
- AZ license (Class A) with Air Brake endorsement
- At least 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Roll off truck experience of 2 years is preferred
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- Manual transmission experience is a plus
- Must be able to reliably get to Whitby, ON or be willing to relocate before starting
