About this job
Our company in Milton, ON is looking for an experienced AZ driver to run regional loads within Ontario, from the GTA to provincial destinations. This is solo, full truckload work on short-haul lanes.
Pay
- $5,000.00-$6,000.00 per month
- Extra pay for additional deliveries
- Paid waiting and layover time, per company policy (details given during onboarding)
What you'll haul
- Full truckloads on Ontario regional (provincial) lanes
- Multi-temperature reefer trailers
- Solo driving, short-haul runs based out of Milton, ON
- Occasionally away from home for one or two nights
Requirements
- Valid AZ/Class 1 licence (Class 1 preferred) with at least 1 year of verified highway tractor trailer experience
- Required: experience operating multi-temperature reefer trailers
- Clean driving abstract, CVOR, and clean criminal and drug/alcohol record
- Familiarity with pre-trip inspections, DVIRs, safety checks and electronic logs
- Comfortable driving in snow, mountains and other tough conditions
- Strong communication skills with customers, dispatch and the safety team
- Safety-focused, professional and reliable on timely cargo delivery
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
