Brimich, a family-run 3PL in Brantford, ON, is looking for an experienced AZ owner-operator to join their growing fleet. This hybrid role mixes local runs with regular trips across the US border, with quality home time built in.
Pay
- US trips pay $1.55 per mile plus fuel surcharge, with rates adjusting as fuel prices change
- Local Canadian trips pay set round-trip rates
- Overall annual pay is estimated at $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
Home time
- You'll be home every other night
- Expect mostly local driving, with at least 1 US trip weekly (up to 3 when demand is high)
What you'll haul
- No-touch freight, primarily food products
- Reefer experience is a plus
- Routes run along the eastern US seaboard, within about 500 miles of the Brantford terminal, located right off the 403
Requirements
- Valid AZ license with a clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- At least 3 years of AZ commercial driving experience, including cross-border work
- FAST card preferred
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must follow all Canadian and US transportation regulations and FMCSA drug and alcohol testing rules
- Comfortable completing electronic logbooks and trip paperwork
- Truck model year 2019 or newer
