Our company in Ajax, ON is looking for an owner operator to haul freight on a fixed term contract. You'll run both short and long distance routes while keeping your truck and paperwork in order.
Pay
- $160,000.00-$260,000.00 per year
What you'll do
- Drive commercial trucks and heavy equipment to move freight
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep your vehicle safe and compliant
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel use and delivery paperwork
- Stay in touch with dispatch and clients about schedules and any issues on the road
- Follow traffic laws, safety rules and company policies
Requirements
- Valid AZ license with a clean driving record
- About 3 years of AZ driving experience preferred
- Previous commercial driving or freight hauling experience preferred
- Comfortable and safe operating heavy machinery
- Organized, detail-oriented approach to inspections and documentation
- Must be an owner operator
- Based in or near Ajax, ON preferred
