About this job
Our company in Etobicoke, ON is looking for an AZ driver to run the Toronto to Kingston switch, operating a 53 ft tractor-trailer. Pay is weekly through payroll, and you must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
What you'll do
- Handle a 53 ft tractor-trailer safely on the Toronto to Kingston route
- Keep accurate activity logs
- Let dispatch know about any problems or incidents on the road
- Check the truck over before and after each trip
Requirements
- A current, clean driving abstract (bring it to your interview)
- At least 2 years driving AZ trucks, including 1 year with manual transmission
- Comfortable driving manual
- Valid AZ licence
- Able to manage the physical demands of the job
- Good work ethic and solid communication skills in English
