AZ Long Haul Truck Driver — Up to $93,000+/Year

Erb Group is a family-owned refrigerated carrier that's been hauling temperature-controlled freight across Canada and the U.S. for over 65 years. They need an AZ-licensed driver for long haul cross-border and interregional runs, moving freight between terminals and across borders.

Pay

Full-time drivers average up to $93,000+ per year. Overtime is paid, and the schedule follows Hours of Service rules rather than a fixed shift.

What you'll haul

You'll move temperature-controlled, perishable freight. Most Canadian runs stay within Ontario and Quebec, with lower-48 routes mainly along the eastern seaboard for new hires, plus western and eastern Canada work that may include a reload from the U.S. Some terminals require trips of 10 to 14 days at a stretch. Once you build seniority, you can bid on a set run; otherwise you're an open board driver taking whatever runs are dispatched.

What the job involves

• Driving safely through all road, weather and temperature conditions

• Planning your own trip routing on long runs

• Running pre-trip inspections and flagging maintenance needs to the shop

• Handling required paperwork, freight labeling, and safe loading/unloading

• Using the onboard telematics system (e-logs and dispatch communication)

• Keeping to Hours of Service and other rules in every jurisdiction you run

• Attending safety meetings and following Erb Group's operating policies

Requirements

• Valid AZ/Class 1 license with at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience

• FAST card or valid passport if crossing into the U.S.

• CVOR, driver's abstract and license copy provided at interview

• Clean criminal record check and employment reference check

• Pass pre-employment drug test, health survey, PSP screening and FMCSA Clearinghouse check

• Required PPE worn on the job (supplied by Erb Group)
