AZ Long Haul Truck Driver — Home Weekends, Up to $0.84/Mile

Our company in Norwood, ON is looking for an experienced AZ driver for long and short haul runs across Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Western Canada. This is dump/bulk ag-industry freight with dedicated trucks and no slip seating.

Pay

• $1,800.00-$2,400.00 per week

• Mileage pay up to $0.84/mile based on experience, covering picks, drops and border crossings

• $30 per hour paid wait time after the first 2 hours

Home time

• Home on weekends, with optional weekend work available if you want it

What you'll haul

• Bulk and dump agricultural products

• Duties include loading/unloading, tarping dump trailers, sweeping out trailers (including frozen product), and removing cross bows with a hammer

• Pre-trip inspections involve walking, bending, lifting and releasing the king pin, plus raising and lowering dolly legs

• You'll handle logbooks, customs paperwork and trip envelopes, fuel the truck daily, keep the cab clean, and use an electronic logging device

Requirements

• Valid AZ driver's license

• 3 years of experience driving manual transmission, with documentation to back it up

• Recent resume, clean driver's abstract and CVOR

• Dump experience and familiarity with the agricultural industry are assets

• Strong communication skills, reliability, safety record, punctuality and a willingness to grow with a family-run company
