AZ Long Haul Truck Driver — Cross-Border Flatbed

Our company is looking for an AZ long haul driver to haul legal and over-dimensional open deck freight to and from ports and client sites, including cross-border runs.

What you'll haul

• Open deck cargo, including legal and over-dimensional loads

• Pickups and deliveries at ports of entry and customer facilities

• You'll need to tarp open deck loads as part of the job

What the job involves

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip equipment checks and flagging any repairs or maintenance to dispatch and the shop

• Clearing up any DVIR issues before heading out each day

• Sending load paperwork and photos by email as soon as a delivery is done

• Keeping to scheduled appointments and letting people know right away if you're running late

• Keeping your truck clean and organized

• Speaking up and asking questions when something's unclear

• Only taking loads that match your training and experience

• Showing up to required company meetings

• Following all FMCSA, DOT and other applicable driving rules

Requirements

• Class AZ CDL

• At least 23 years old

• At least 2 years of comparable driving experience

• Driving record that meets Precision Specialized's standards

• TWIC card

• Able to cross the border

• Able to read and speak English

• Able to pass a DOT physical

• Comfortable using tools like electronic tablets, email, Isaac and Vertical Alliance video training

• Good phone, email and in-person communication with operations staff and clients
