About this job
Our company is hiring a full-time Truck Driver in Brampton, ON to run long-haul and international routes, operating straight or articulated trucks. This is a permanent, on-site position.
Pay
- $37.70 per hour
- Expected hours: 35.0 to 40.0 per week
What you'll do
- Plan and adjust routes using GPS and computer systems
- Load and unload goods
- Inspect the truck before, during, and after trips, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment
- Communicate with dispatch and keep logs of hours, distance, and fuel use
- Tarp and secure cargo
Requirements
- AZ class license
- Air Brake (Z) endorsement
- 2 to 3 years of experience
- Secondary school diploma
- Clean driving record (abstract check)
- English language skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
