AZ Local Truck Driver — Part-Time Weekends, up to $28/hr

This is a part-time local AZ driving role covering Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon shifts, working for a well-established Canadian supply chain company through our company company. Shifts run around 12 hours, with occasional runs slightly longer.

Schedule

• Afternoon shifts, Friday through Sunday

• Trucks are slip-seated for AM/PM use, so shifts are typically capped near 12 hours, though extensions happen on occasion

What you'll haul

• Local delivery routes for a major national supply chain client

• Unloading is done with a pump truck kept on board; you're responsible for making sure it stays in the trailer at the starting point

• Some routes require operating a power tailgate; training is available if you haven't used one before

• Physical handling of freight up to 50 lbs is part of the job

Pay

Pay is mileage-based and tiered by distance:

• 0-30 miles: $1.071

• 31-60 miles: $0.849

• 61-110 miles: $0.658

• 111-150 miles: $0.515

• 151-240 miles: $0.444

• 241-300 miles: $0.461

• 301-450 miles: $0.393

• 451-500 miles: $0.404

• 501-600 miles: $0.393

• 600+ miles: $0.407

Other pay components:

• Guaranteed minimum: $26.537

• Per delivery stop: $20.661

• Per vendor stop: $26.612

• Delay pay, per hour: $20.661

• Hand-bombing pay, per hour: $20.661

• Earning potential up to $28/hour or $250/day

Requirements

• Valid AZ licence

• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience

• Minimum age 25

• Clean driving abstract and current CVOR

• Able to provide references

• Must clear a criminal background check

• Strong backing-up skills needed
