AZ Local Driver — GTA Open Board, Home Daily

This local AZ driving job runs on an open board around the GTA, starting and finishing each shift at the Guelph yard. It's a full-time, permanent Monday to Friday schedule, and the company is open to owner-operators working through brokers.

Schedule and routes

• Monday to Friday, starting at 06:00

• You begin and end each shift at the yard

• Local open-board runs across the GTA

• Work includes drop and pick, some tailgate work, retail store deliveries, live loads and dock-to-dock freight

Requirements

• You must live in Guelph

• At least 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience

• A clean driver's abstract and CVOR

• Valid AZ licence

• You'll need to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, plus random testing afterward

• A clean background check covering criminal and judicial history

• Owner-operators' trucks can't be older than 2015 (10 years)

What the job involves

• Operating your equipment safely and responsibly

• Handling electronic paperwork, including PTIs

• Working with the ISAAC ELD system

• Staying in regular contact with Dispatch

• Building good working relationships with customers and coworkers

• Occasional physical work, including lifting over 50 lbs

• Following Ministry of Transportation and Highway Traffic Act rules
