About this job
Our company Transport, a family-owned company running since 2015, is looking for an AZ driver for live bottom and tanker work based out of Richmond, ON. This is a full-time role with automatic trucks from 2019 or newer.
Pay
- Starting wage is $32.00 per hour
- Your pay gets reviewed after 3 months, with a possible raise
- Up to 70 hours of work per week are available
Schedule
- Tanker positions may run on a dual-shift, slip-seat setup, sharing a truck between day and night crews
- Not all runs are local, so be ready to sleep in the truck, often Monday through Friday and sometimes Saturday
What you'll haul
- Live bottom and tanker loads
- Trucks come fitted with electronic logging devices and cameras covering the driver and the lane
Requirements
- AZ licence in Ontario (Class 1 in Quebec)
- At least 3 years of experience driving on an AZ licence, including 3 years driving in North America
- Canadian citizenship
- Reliable commute to or relocation to Richmond, ON
- A resume, 3 current references (including your current or most recent employer) and a driver's abstract are needed to apply
