About this job
GLS is hiring an AZ Linehaul Driver for its Vaughan Terminal. This is a full-time, permanent night shift role running line haul out of 9501 Highway #50, Vaughan, Ontario (Hwy #50/Major MacKenzie).
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 9:00pm and 12:00am
- 10-12 hours per day
Pay
- $0.335 per km for line haul
- $30.24 for inspection and waiting time
Equipment
- Tractor-trailers with air suspension
- Air-conditioned cab with air suspension
- Dual soundproofing
- Premium Plus air suspension seat with 6 lumbar settings
What you'll do
- Check the vehicle before heading out
- Fill out inspection reports and flag any defects
- Drive safely at all times
Requirements
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Clean CVOR
- Able to work independently and solve problems on the road
- Comfortable sitting for long stretches
