AZ Line Haul Driver — Home Daily, Cross-Border to Michigan

Our company needs experienced AZ drivers for line haul runs between Sarnia, ON and Michigan, hauling solid waste from transfer stations to landfills. You'll be home every night after long daily runs, with dedicated equipment and paid training to start.

What you'll haul

• Solid waste, moved daily from transfer stations to various landfills

• Daily cross-border trips into Michigan in a commercial motor vehicle

Schedule and home time

• Home every night

• Runs average 600-1100 km per day, lasting 10-14 hours

• Optional Saturday shifts available

Training

• Paired one-on-one with an experienced driver coach

• Two weeks of paid, industry-specific training provided in Ayr, ON

Requirements

• Valid AZ license

• At least 3 years of relevant AZ driving experience

• Strong backing skills

• Able to cross the US border daily in a CMV

• Clean driver's abstract, CVOR abstract, criminal background check, and DOT-regulated drug testing

• Working knowledge of trucking rules and regulations, including hours of service, safe vehicle operation, and customs requirements

• Waste hauling experience preferred; heavy hauling experience is a plus

• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and ability to stay composed under pressure

On the job, you'll be responsible for daily vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or incidents, logging your hours and kilometers through e-logs and daily trip reports in line with DOT and MTO rules, and keeping your paperwork (fuel receipts, toll receipts, pickup/delivery tickets) in order.
