AZ Line Haul Driver — $27.00–$28.00/hr, Hamilton, ON

Our company is hiring an AZ driver for a potential client in Hamilton, ON. This line haul role involves driving a variety of vehicles, handling freight, and operating a forklift on a daily basis.

Pay

• $27.00-$28.00 per hour

• Scheduled for 38.0-40.0 hours per week

• Full-time position

What you'll do

• Drive cars, vans, trucks and forklifts to move goods between locations

• Load and unload cargo, making sure it's handled and secured properly

• Follow traffic laws and safety rules on every trip

• Handle basic upkeep tasks like checking fluids and tire pressure

• Track your deliveries, mileage and fuel use

• Stay in touch with dispatch or your supervisor to plan routes and timing

• Make sure deliveries arrive on schedule and in good shape

Requirements

• Valid driver's licence with a clean record

• Previous experience driving or in a comparable role

• Familiarity with local roads and traffic laws

• Comfortable operating a forklift and similar equipment

• Good organizational, time-management and communication skills

• Able to work with little supervision

• Physically able to lift heavy items as part of the job

• 3 years of LTL experience required

• Forklift licence required

Nice to have

• Background in freight transport or logistics

• Some knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance
