AZ In-City Pickup & Delivery Driver — $30.01/hr, Weekends Off

Our company needs an AZ driver for in-city pickup and delivery runs out of the Barrie terminal. This is a Monday to Friday, full-time permanent role on company payroll, not incorporation.

Pay

• $30.01 per hour

• Safety bonuses

• Company pension with a $7 employer contribution for every hour worked

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, weekends off

• Local Barrie runs

What you'll haul

• LTL pickup and delivery work within the city

• Mix of manual and automatic trucks with current onboard technology

What you'll do

• Handle pickups and deliveries on your route

• Check your equipment daily and run safety inspections

• Report any needed repairs to dispatch

• Follow safe driving practices on every run

• Dock and forklift work may come up, so that experience helps

• Paid orientation and safety training included

Requirements

• AZ licence with air brake endorsement

• At least 2 years of trucking experience

• At least 2 years driving a 10-speed manual transmission

• At least 1 year running a counterbalance forklift

• At least 2 years in LTL truckload work

• Clean driver's abstract and CVOR

• Able to lift up to 75 lbs

• Solid English skills, spoken and written

• Basic math ability

• Must pass pre-employment health, drug and criminal background checks, plus Transport Canada's driver qualification standards

• Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

• Must be hired on payroll, not through incorporation
