About this job
Our company needs an AZ highway driver running between Mississauga, ON and Montreal, QC. This is an overnight, Monday to Friday schedule hauling general freight.
Routes and schedule
- Based out of Mississauga, ON, running to Montreal, QC
- Overnight runs, Monday through Friday
- About 50-60 hours per week, averaging 3-4 runs weekly
- 1-2 stops per day, with additional driving within 100 miles of Montreal or Ottawa
- Automatic transmission bunk truck
What you'll haul
- General freight
Pay
- $0.50 per mile
- Monthly pay works out to $4,200.00-$5,600.00
- $25 for each extra pickup or drop beyond the first pickup/first drop
- $20 per hour for wait time once you pass the 2-hour mark
Requirements
- At least 2 years of verifiable AZ driving experience
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Comfortable working with electronic logbooks (ELD)
- Clean criminal background check
