Our company is a family-owned flatbed carrier running cross-border freight for over 40 years, hauling steel coils, pipe, lumber, machinery, stone, brick and other secured loads. They're hiring AZ drivers and owner operators for flatbed cross-border runs out of Hamilton, ON due to growing business.
Pay
- Company drivers average $0.72-0.76 cents/mile
- Picks, drops, tarping and layovers are all paid
- Weekly direct deposit
- $1000 referral bonus
- Owner operators get a strong percentage package plus 100% FSC, no hold backs, fuel discounts, paid fleet insurance, a $1000 referral bonus and biweekly direct deposit
Home time
Most drivers are home most weekends and often get home midweek too.
What you'll haul
Flatbed cross-border loads including steel coils, bars and rod, pipe, building products, lumber, waferboard, machinery, stone and brick, run with well-maintained, late-model trucks and trailers serviced in-house.
Requirements
- Valid AZ (Class 1) license
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- Clean criminal record
- 1-3 years of truck driving experience
- At least 1 year of flatbed and cross-border experience, plus 1 year hauling steel coils
- Safety-focused and professional
