AZ Flatbed Cross-Border Truck Driver — $32.50/hr

Our company, a family-run carrier based in Hamilton, ON with over 25 years in business, needs an experienced flatbed driver for cross-border runs between the US and Canada. This is not local work, and all freight is general international cargo, with trips ranging from 500-600 mile radiuses to longer hauls anywhere in the US and Canada.

Pay

• $32.50 per hour for on-duty and driving time, paid weekly by direct deposit

What you'll haul

• General international freight on slider kit trailers

• You'll load and secure materials, deliver from shipper to receiver, unload, and check in with dispatch afterward

Schedule

• Full-time, permanent position requiring 100% willingness to travel

• Cross-border travel between the US and Canada is required for every trip

Requirements

• Valid AZ licence

• Air Brake endorsement

• At least 3 years of recent, verifiable commercial driving experience, including 1 year specifically in flatbed and cross-border work

• A FAST card, or at minimum an application in progress, plus a valid passport for border crossings

• Clean driving abstract and a clear criminal record check

• Fluent in both spoken and written English

• Must reside in Ontario, Canada

• Open only to drivers on regular company payroll; incorporated drivers are not eligible

On the job

• Log your hours using the OMNITRACS XRS ELD system

• Keep your paperwork and load sheets organized throughout the week

• Keep your truck clean and in good condition, and report any needed repairs to management right away

• Conduct yourself professionally and courteously as a representative of the company
