About this job
Our company is looking for an AZ driver in Oshawa, ON to deliver and collect equipment for customers, operating semi-trucks and low-boy trailers under CDL-A classification. This is a local role, and you'll be home every night.
Pay
- $29.00 to $41.75 an hour, depending on experience and position factors
Home time
- Home every night (local routes)
What you'll haul
- Construction equipment delivered using semi-trucks and low-boy trailers
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of DOT-regulated commercial driving experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to lift up to 45 lbs
- Familiarity with construction equipment and safe driving practices
Responsibilities
- Drop off and pick up equipment at customer sites
- Complete pre-trip inspections and keep accurate driver logs
- Follow all applicable safety and federal motor carrier regulations
- Recommend extra equipment or supplies customers might need
